CoinPriceTab was a project designed to be a crypto price watcher app like CoinGeko or CoinMarketCap.
However, the focus of CoinPriceTab was on showing the price charts rather than market cap or descriptions of the coin.

Our Task
Our task was to build a fully responsive, cycling crypto watching app that could be left open as a browser tab on an extra monitor.
The user would leave this tab opened and glance at it periodically when needed. We also designed the screen to flash red or green in the event of a major change in price.
The initial build took approximately a 1 month effort which required a team of 2. Important to note, the project shown is a sandbox project. It was build for the “cycling chart” feature which was transplanted into another project for one of our clients.
Technical Details
This project was build using Angular and IONIC Framework. The chart and coin pricing data was being pulled via CoinGeko API.
The ability for the site and charts to resize on demand was custom built by our team.
When the project was first presented during a crypto event in 2022, people were blown away by the animation.
The animation was so impressive, it was requested to be used on a future project from one of our clients.
